The Indian men’s cricket team will have a jam packed home season as the BCCI have announced a packed schedule from November to March as Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Australia come touring to enthrall cricket fans all over the country.

The home season will kickstart with West Indies' white-ball tour - which includes 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is - on September 27 in Thiruvananthapuram. The series will run till October 17. While the ODIs will be played in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and New Chandigarh, the T20I series will be hosted across Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The last international game hosted at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru was in October 2024.

It will be followed by the series against Sri Lanka which will include 3 ODIs and as many T20Is, from December 13 to 27. The ODI leg will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, while Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune will host the T20Is

In January next year, Zimbabwe will tour India for a three-match ODI series, set to be played in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai, which might be the last time we see Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli play a home ODI.

The culmination of the home season will be the epic border gavaskar test series that will be played from 21st Jan to 3rd March. Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Nathon Lyon and Steve Smith, who described India as the “final frontier” would be looking to sign off with a historic series win in India. The Test matches are scheduled to be played in Nagpur, Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad as India would look for those crucial points to qualify for the final of the world test championship.
